Toronto, Ontario, 1 August, 2011 – Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (NYSE/TSX: BAM; EURONEXT: BAMA) is pleased to announce that Andrew Williams has joined the firm as Senior Vice President and Client Relations Manager for the Private Funds Group.
Mr. Williams will be responsible for Brookfield’s relationships with investors in Australia. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Williams served as a Director in the real estate advisory team at UBS Investment Bank for four years, focused on representing real estate funds to a range of top tier Australian institutional investors. Before that, he spent nine years as a senior consultant at Pinnacle Property Group, a leading independent property consulting firm. Mr. Williams is a fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, an Associate of the Australian Property Institute.
